I deeply apologize to the women that are self-described as Black, whom the things I am going to say don’t apply to. Now, those have been my observations, I repeat my observations, which I am neither totally right nor wrong either. But even if you don’t agree with me, and those have not been your experience, nonetheless I witnessed them happening.
Black women dog on other Black women more so than women of other races. Here are a few my observations:
1. Black women kiss up to women of other races so often, which it is becoming the norm. I’ve watched Black women co-signing with women of other races who were bashing Black women, But rarely do you see women of other races co-signing with Black women bashing women of their races, unless they do not like the person in question, even then it is rare to see something like that.
2. Black women feel like they belong when they are accepted by women of other races. Now I’ve watched Black women call “friends” women who are classified as Non-Black women, who specifically state or act as if they are better than Black women. If you go on social networking websites, you will see Black women having those same women’s pictures all over calling them “besties”.
3. Black women feel like they can’t stand up to Non-Black women. I think insecurity plays a big role. I have been victim of non-Black women walking all over me, but I felt like it was normal since I thought they were somewhat better than me. Now, I had instances where Black women disrespected me as well, and I didn't stand up for myself. A lot of Black women don’t even bother standing up, because deep down, they may feel less. They seem to be afraid to stand up to women who are not considered as Black.
4. Some Black women equate association with non-Black women with being secure and not jealous. The stereotype is that Black women hate on other races of women, to be seen as different, Black women refrain from standing up or expressing their opinions. They are scared of being called jealous.
5. Black women think Non-Black women look better. Not only do non-Black women act and say like they do, and Some Black men won’t let them forget either , but also you hear Black women gushing about how they wished they look differently, and sometimes specifically refer to the women they want to look like.
It should be no surprise that people of color have self-hatred going on. Even I sometimes feel victim to society’s agenda, and feel that I am not good enough. After analyzing all these behaviors among Black women, I can conclude if Black women don’t like themselves, it shouldn’t be a surprise if they act that way towards their own kind.
Many love to say , "we are one" , fact is we are not one , different races don't like other races. even within a race , there will be those who don't like each other. We cannot achieve world peace, if you do not like yourself. You must first reach internal peace, before you can live in harmony others on this earth.
